Fifth-place outing with Steel Block Bandits at 411 Motor Speedway
With the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series in town, Jensen Ford made the trip to his home track of 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday evening for the $5,000-to-win Rick King Memorial.
Among 31 Late Models checked in, Ford was second-fastest in his qualifying group before taking the heat race win. Rolling off from the second-row in the 50-lap main event, Jensen battled for a Top-5 position and crossed the line fifth when the checkered flag flew.
His McCarter Brothers Racing teammate Mack McCarter won the event while Jordan Roadabaugh, Kenny Collins, and Derick Quade filled in the Top-5.
