Jensen Ford travels to Tri-County and North Georgia with Southern Nationals
On Thursday afternoon, Jensen Ford returned to the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series at Ray Cook's Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.).
Locking in the Top-5 in qualifying, Jensen qualified ninth-quickest but earned a feature starting position with a fourth-place outing his B-Main. For the $7,553-to-win main event, Ford was caught up in a lap 13 incident and was scored 20th.
For the Southern Nationals Series's penultimate event at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.), Jensen transferred to the 53-lap main event with a runner-up finish in his B-Main. With a $10,053 paycheck on deck, Ford pulled off early and recorded a 19th-place outing.
