McCarter swept the Crate Late Model portion of the two-day, 5th Annual “Leftover,” scoring back-to-back feature wins to pocket a total of $2,500 on the weekend.

“I don’t know where to start, but what an amazing weekend for our team. Blessed would be an understatement,” said a humbled McCarter. “Our car was fantastic all weekend. It feels great to win in such dominating fashion. I can’t thank my team for all of their hard work. Also, thanks to our great sponsors and everyone who supports this team.”

Mack McCarter made the short trip to 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. on Friday night to compete in the Crate Late Model portion of the 5th Annual “Leftover.” Drawing a stout field of 42 cars, McCarter secured his spot into the opening night feature with the second fastest lap overall in time trials behind Adam Ahl.

Outdueling Ahl in the 25-lapper, Mack built more than four-second margin over the field by the time he crossed the line to secure his first win of the season. Finishing ahead of Ahl, Zach Sise, Josh Henry, and Greg Martin, McCarter pocketed $1,000.

1On Saturday afternoon with the field inflated to 49 entries, Mack topped the speed charts in qualifying, which positioned him on the pole for the finale. Busting out the broom to complete the weekend sweep, McCarter soared to his second win in as many nights over Josh Henry, Eli Beets, Zach Sise, and Michael Bland. He earned $1,500 for his dominant performance. (Josh James Artwork)
