June 1, 2019 - Mack Tops Limited Field at Tazewell For First Win of the Season
1Mack McCarter did what few drivers can say they’ve ever done. On Saturday night he tamed the high banks of the might Tazewell Speedway. The triumph marked his first of 2019 in his McCarter Brothers Racing No. 51 Tennessee Homemade Wines/ Parkway Liquor Store/ Longhorn Chassis Limited Late Model.

“Between the family business, the racetrack, and family life neither Pierce nor myself have got to race just a ton this year. We’ve been splitting time in the driver’s seat, and honestly by doing that we’re having as much fun as ever racing this year. We were able to outrun some quality cars on Saturday night to get the win, and that made it extra special.”

Mack McCarter hopped behind the wheel of his Parkway Liquor Stores No. 51 Limited Late Model on Saturday evening at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee). Laying down the second fastest lap in time trials behind Dakotah Knuckles, Mack earned the outside-front-row starting position for the A-Main.

Blasting past race-leader Jason Trammell on the high-side on the fifth lap, McCarter went on to dominate the remaining 25 circuits en route to his first win of the season. Trammell, Dakotah Knuckles, Jody Horton, and Brian Shockley trailed him to the checkers.
