January 28th, 2017 - Pierce Competes in Bubba Army Winter Nationals at Bubba Raceway Park
1On Thursday night Pierce McCarter headed south to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) for the opening round of the annual Bubba Army Winternationals. Drawing 41 NeSmith Crate Late Models, McCarter failed to make it out for qualifying sending him to the tail of his B-Main. Sending the Top 6 into the opening night $2,000-to-win feature, Pierce logged a 10th place outing.

Friday’s program saw 44 entries return to action for another $2,000-to-win preliminary feature at Bubba Raceway Park. Coming up one position short of a transfer spot in qualifying with the 7th fastest time, Pierce locked his spot into the show with a 5th place finish in his B-Main. Rolling off 19th, Pierce McCarter dropped back to a 23rd place outing in the 40-lapper.

After seeing the $10,000-to-win finale delayed to Sunday by Mother Nature, McCarter decided to call it a weekend and head home.
