July 30th, 2016 - McCarter Brothers Battle Against Each Other at 411 Motor Speedway
1Competing each other for the first time in four years, Mack and Pierce McCarter headed to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the $1,000-to-win Crate Late Model feature. In a field of eighteen cars, Pierce timed in eighth fastest while Mack posted the 13th quickest lap. Earning a spot into one of the two dash events, Pierce landed a 4th place finish sending him into the feature with the 8th-starting spot. Working his way into the top five, Pierce notched a 5th place finish behind Josh Henry, Cory Hedgecock, Jesse Lowe, and Ross White while Mack fell back to a 11th place outing.

July 19th, 2016 - Pierce Follow So. Nationals to 411
1Picking back up with the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series, Pierce McCarter headed to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Tuesday night for the $3,500-to-win A-Main. In a field of thirty-one cars, McCarter battled back in the feature after placing 7th in his heat. With 35-laps to gain some ground, Pierce reeled in a 12th place outing. (Wells Racing Photography)

1On Thursday night the Southern Nationals Series resumed at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) for another $3,500-to-win A-Main. After failing to make it out for his heat race, Brown was absent when the green flag dropped at the beginning of the 35-lap A-Main.

July 16th, 2016 - Pierce Kicks of Southern Nationals
1Kicking off the 12th Annual Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Old Man’s Garage, Pierce McCarter invaded Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) on Saturday. Drawing twenty-six Super Late Models for the opening night $10,000-to-win feature, McCarter placed a few spots out of the top ten in the feature. Battling in the 53-lap affair, Pierce posted a 13th place finish.

July 4th, 2016 - Busy Weekend for McCarter Brothers
1Competing in the action-packed 4th of July weekend, Mack and Pierce headed to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Friday night with Mack competing in the Ironman Mountain Championship and Pierce in the Sportsman division. After timing in 3rd in a field of eighteen cars, Mack McCarter dropped back to a 14th place outing in the 30-lap Scott Sexton Memorial A-Main.

In the $800-to-win Sportsman feature, Pierce worked his way up to a 2nd place finish in the 25-lapper behind Jensen Ford with Gary Crittenden, Josh Henry, and Bryson Dennis rounding out the top five.

1The following night Mack headed to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for another round of the Ironman Mountain Championship. Battling for a $5,000 payday in the main event, McCarter logged a 16th place outing in the 40-lap affair.

1On Sunday night Pierce returned to action traveling to Wartburg Speedway (Wartburg, Tennessee) for the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) sanctioned A-Main. Bringing home a top five finish in a field of fourteen, Pierce McCarter landed a 5th place finish in the $2,500-to-win feature behind Jake Teague, Anthony White, Ross White, and Heath Hindman.
