The $3,000-to-win program drew a field of forty-eight entries to the oval, and Pierce would enjoy a strong start to his outing by qualifying fourth overall in time trials. He later raced to a fifth place finish in the Dash, which positioned him starting fifth on the feature grid.

After battling amongst the top five throughout the duration of the 40 lap finale, McCarter advanced to a third place finish at the checkered flag behind race winner, Riley Hickman and Donald McIntosh. Cory Hedgecock and Jason Hiett completed the remainder of the top five.

Mack would tackle a strong field of fifty-three Super Late Models on Saturday as preliminary action was contested for the $6,000-to-win finale. He qualified second in his group during time trials and went on to finish third in his heat race, earning him the fifteenth starting spot on the grid for Sunday afternoon's 50 lap main event.

Daytime conditions would make passing difficult in the feature on Sunday, and Mack would ultimately retire early to a 24th place finish in the final rundown.

Unfortunately, the weekend came to an end before it ever really got started for Pierce in the Crate Late Model ranks. Terminal issues with his #71 entry following hot laps on Saturday forced Pierce to scratch from the remainder of the weekend.

Despite cold temperatures, a stout field of forty-six Super Late Models converged on the 3/8 mile oval to do battle in front of an immense crowd. Pierce started his outing by timing in fourth fastest in Group A during qualifications, earning him the pole position for his heat race. He charged to a convincing heat race victory to lock into the sixth starting spot for the 40 lap, $4,000-to-win finale.

When the race went green, McCarter quickly made his way into the top five, inheriting the third position on lap thirteen when Cory Hedgecock retired with a flat right rear tire. Pierce held the third position for much of the event until contact from a lapped car sent him spinning into the infield off turn four. Series rules forced McCarter to restart at the tail of the lead-lap cars with six laps remaining. He went on to charge back in the closing laps to a solid fourth place finish behind race winner, Donald McIntosh, Walker Arthur and Stephen Breeding. Jeremy Hines rounded out the top five finishers.
